I'm sorry, but when I read the "bear attack" line, I laughed. I'm really sorry. But the rest of it had me doing a bit of an angst dance, like, "No, no! She's not going to make him leave Jon! Oh, c'moooon, no, he's not actually going to leave, is he? Oh, for fuck's sake, Jon isn't going to just let him go, is he? Aww, Jon isn't really going to -- and Stephen didn't just -- for Christ's sake, it's not just going to fall apart -- " and so on and so forth until I realized that they're just good people, and they would do exactly what's right regardless of the repercussions. The fact that this is realized through your writing is just...perfection.
