After reading this chapter, I had to feed a lie to my roommate about why I looked so upset. I couldn't exactly tell her, "OMG STEPHEN'S WIFE MADE HIM BREAK UP WITH JON SO THEY CAN'T HAVE ANY MORE HOT SEXINS." So you're not alone in the situation with your brother. XD

I don't think it's sadistic at all for you to want to make your readers feel strong emotions...that's what writing is all about!
