Hey anyone who may stumble across this!

Even though this comm has long since died off, I've decided to import it over to dreamwidth in case livejournal ever becomes dust in the wind, as there is so much work and so many good memories here that it would be a shame to lose. I was unable to use tds_rps as a comm name on dreamwidth as it is already in use (I think someone might have created it years ago to do just this and then didn't get very far) so the comm is:

I am looking for an incomplete fic from a loong time ago.

I believe that politics had soured and all the fake pundits had been forced to quit and Jon had disappeared.

Steve Carrel and Stephen went on a journey to find him and it was Jon/Stephen and Steve/Stephen. Can anyone help??

I have a request! Its been years YEARS since I read this fic, I cannot find it. Here's what I vaguely remember

- Alt reality: McCain won the 2008 election. If I remember right, he died and Palin was president. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I do remember the next points better

- Jon/Stephen of course.

- Wait, or did Santorum become president

- Either way, a lot of shit was banned and the USA became a dicatorship. There was a 'last episode' of TDS and TCR

- the fic had lots and lots of images

- Jon and Stephen (and I think Keith? Rachel?) tried to escape to Canada but the borders were closed. I think they eventually made it through.

- There was LOTS AND LOTS OF ANGST.

Please, PLEASE help me find this fic!!

(Edit: In case anyone doesn't know, Crush and The Word are very, very dark stories, and full of stuff that might be triggery. So, you know, if that's something that might bother you, be careful.)

I also have some other fake news fics saved. I don’t think any of them have been taken down… but a lot has changed since my more active days in this fandom, so I probably wouldn’t notice if they were.

So: If you’re looking for any specific fake news fic, feel free to ask me about it! It’s not necessarily likely that I’ll have it, but I’ll always be happy to check. :)

To anyone else out there who has any lost fics saved: It’d be great if you could set up email alerts for this posts and help people out if I’m not around!

Okay, so it doesn't look like anyone's been active in this community for a while, but I figure this can't hurt.

I'm looking for a fic where, during the 2020 presidential election, both official nominees go batshit insane (as well as the VP nominees) so the country write-in elects Jon Stewart as president.
I can't remember the name of the author, but I'm hoping someone might be able to provide a link to this story.

Hello wonderful people of this community. I come from the future and I am very, very desperate. I have joined the TDS fandom only recently (faaaaaaaar too late) and I started reading Lady_Vanilla's fic "Sexuality". Only, the last few chapters of the fic are friendslocked in her journal, and I don't think she's going to answer my friend request any time soon.

So if any of you are still around and could help me out by sending me the fic (or any other good D/s fics ;D) I would be eternally grateful and instantly turn into the happiest puddle of melted kitten-goo the internet has ever seen.

Alright, I hate to do this, but I need some help finding a fic. I'm just now getting back into this fandom, so it's probably a couple years old. From what I am able to conjure, it consisted of a very dominant 'Stephen' and a very submissive Jon. The only particular parts I can remember are when Stephen made Jon wear an extremely garish tie on air, and another part when they were getting.... *ahem* all sexy, and Jon used a safeword.

Hey everybody! I'm pretty new here, but I stumbled upon a Jon/Stephen fic back in January and can't seem to find it anymore. It was actually kind of disturbing, and it was about the world ending and how everything was falling to pieces. Jon and Stephen meet up in the end to watch the world fall apart after most everyone else has died. So yeah. Dark fic, but I want to read it again.
